AACKA First Community Walk Blog

This weekend, AACKA -- African & Afro-Caribbean Kidney Awareness proudly hosted our first community walk, bringing people together to raise awareness about kidney health, healthy living, and the importance of community support.

We are delighted to share that 20+ people turned up to walk with us, stand beside our cause, and help spread the message about kidney disease awareness. The energy, positivity, and commitment shown by everyone who attended made the day truly special.

A Strong Community Response

From the moment people arrived, there was a real sense of togetherness. Families, friends, supporters, and new faces all came out to take part, showing that when communities unite, real change can happen.

  • Raising awareness of kidney health

  • Encouraging healthier lifestyles

  • Supporting those affected by kidney disease

  • Promoting early checks and prevention

  • Building stronger community connections

A Proud Milestone for AACKA

We are proud to say that our first community walk was a great success. Every conversation held, every step walked, and every person who joined helped to promote the AACKA mission.

Thank You to Everyone Who Supported Us

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, encouraged others, or simply helped spread the word. Your support means everything and helps us continue growing.

What's Next?

This is only the beginning. AACKA has more walks, awareness campaigns, health initiatives, and community events planned.

Together we walk. Together we raise awareness. Together we make a difference.
